Dated 3/11/03. Here’s another strip that you could say had some filler in it. Combining 13 and 14 into one strip would have made more sense. I obviously did not spend a lot of time planning these out. Storyboarding or outlining would have helped me recognize the pacing problems.
While I was obviously committed to trying to do these well at this point, I did have a day job, so the time I had to spend on Astro Gator was limited. It may not look like it, but the drawing alone took some time, and I’m not sure how much more time I could have put into planning.
