Dated 5/16/03. This strip builds a little bit of suspense before we proceed to the next stage of the plot. Those question marks are some of the worst in the history of question marks. I probably should have tried to find a stencil.
The general quality of this issue is poorer than usual. All of the lines look a little off. Definitely not my best art. These had been getting a little time-consuming, and maybe I just needed a break.
Don’t worry, the next several strips are good, and we finally get to solving the mystery of Abstract Gator’s presence.
