Astro Gator Number 54
Dated 08/05/03. Astro Gator seems to have a 6000-series robot for every situation! This is admittedly a little deficient in the plot department. There has not been a solid explanation for why Astro Gator just starts blasting the Abstract Armada, and I’m not sure one is forthcoming. They’re trying to mess with Abstract Gator, and Astro Gator is loyal to his friends.
Astro Gator’s ships seems to be packing some impressive firepower for such a small ship, and the Abstract Armada does not really seem to be fighting back at all. That would seem to defeat the whole purpose of assembling an armada.
So it is not very believable, but you will get to see Abstract Gator do some cool things in the next couple of strips, so stay tuned for that.
