Dated 9/9/03. Astro Gator’s friends are converging on the bridge of the Abstract Armada’s mother ship, and Astro Gator is still grieving over the death of Astro Gecko.
Writing-wise, this issue adds very little, and it represents another pacing problem that I should have tried to address. Ultimately, this issue does not have a good answer to the question, “How does this advance the story you’re trying to tell?” I could have storyboarded, I could have outlined, I could have thought about showcasing an interesting piece of drawing.
