Only a handful of schools have acknowledged their debt to native people and enslaved people, and I have not heard of any trying to make amends in any material way. Harvard announced recently that they were setting aside some money to study their ties to slavery, but whether that effort leads to a full accounting, reparations, or even an apology remains to be seen.
